A Dad's Love

Some of you may know, my DD11 was recently hospitalized with a serious illness. It was touch and go for several days.

So when she got better and was well enough to let me paint her nails, her Dad was happy to oblige her request for smiley faces on her toenails.

There isn't much I wouldn't do for my daughter.

It always warms my heart to see a loving father with his daughter. Moms are sooooo important, but nothing can replace the love of a father for his daughter. I miss my dad every day. He made me who I am. Thanks for sharing this, and I'm glad that she is doing so much better!

As a father of two girls myself I know the importance of a Dad's love. I am glad she is feeling better. It's weird what a difference a day can make. Hope she is getting plenty of rest. I will continue to keep your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Bless you all. Nothing a dad would not do for his princess. Mine turns 11 next week. I cannot imagine having an experience as you mentioned. Really glad you have smiles all around now.

I'm very glad to hear she is doing better. I honestly don't know how I'd be in the same situation. My prayers not only go out to her for a full recovery but to both you and your husband to stay strong. As much pain as this has probably given you both, I hope it gives you just as much happiness to see her doing better again. Hang in there, we're rooting for you
