A cupcake cake?

Does the Swan/Dolphin or Disney Escape allow you to bring your own cake?

Or has anyone ever heard of WDW or S/D making a cupcake cake for a wedding?

We are currently deciding between a Swan/Dolphin wedding or a Disney one.

I love these & would love to have one as our wedding cake!

Unfortunately, I do not think either venue will allow for outside cakes, but they might be able to custom make one for you. Someone else might have a better answer for you though!

That cake is gorgeous, by the way!! I love cupcakes & I think that is a fantastic idea for a cake!

The Dolphin has their own bakery and they are really easy to work with on customization. We did our rehearsal dinner at one of their restaurants and I ordered a groom's cake from them. It was a lot cheaper than when I called some of the Disney bakeries like the one on Boardwalk.

We did cupcakes for our at-home reception and they were a huge hit. Our guests really enjoyed them!

My mom just got married again. Her ceremony was casual and laid back, so we did cupcakes! Her's was all iced together, so from the top it looked like a solid cake. She and her DH both play guitar, so it was in the shape of a guitar. It was really cute! I'll post a pic tomorrow.

Here's my mom's guitar cake made out of cupcakes. She had already sampled the icing! While not for formal occassions, it would make a cool groom's cake, anniversary, tea party, etc. I've seen them do this with wedding bells too, & it's really cute!
