A coward's dilemma

Yes, I am deep in my planning. Now I have found out a huge blank in my schedule on thursday 29th, the thrill ride meet day. For I am, as some of you may remember, the ultimate coward, to whom Pirates of Caribbean and Buzz Lightyear are the ultimate thrill rides. I am planning wed and friday around epcot, sat around MK. What to do with this thursday? Is everybody going to the thrill ride meets? anyone as chicken as myself around? I would appreciate your suggestions...

Livia, I am a thrill rider!! I LOVE Thrill Rides, but I don't think that I could keep up with their pace.

I have planned to start the morning at the Character Breakfast, and photos. Then we're taking the boat to MGM for the day. The Osborn Lights @ 5:30, Fantasmic Dessert Party from 6:30 - 8:00 then the beloved TOT from 8:00 till 10:00!!

We may take a break that afternoon at our resort, (unless we do some resort hopping).
Hope that gives you another idea for that day.

Gerri: I plan to to go to the character breakfast for sure. I am trying to decide if I spend the day at MGM or at AK. Or if I go shopping... hmmmmm many possibilities here!

Hi Livia,

I really like all the rides (except Kali River Rapids - I don't like getting drenched),
but I won't be doing the Thrill Ride Tour either.
I KNOW that all 3 of the groups will have a blast, but I think I am going to
Downtown Disney that Day for some serious shopping!

Livia, I'm pretty sure Tia and her DD are skipping the Thrill Ride Tour, too. (I'll be doing the tour, but I'm skipping those nasty Tea Cups! LOL) So, I think you'll find there are quite a few that are skipping the tour. You won't be alone.

How about an alternate meet for the non-thrill riders? How about a slow ride meet? You can got to the parks and ride all the slow rides. I cannot host this one, but if someone wants to host it, I am sure we can pass the idea along to Mac-key Mouse and Linda.

We could ride all but the slow rides at Fantasyland, for we will be doing a special meet there on sat. Let's see what our Dis-Con leaders think of that.

Okay, Barb is correct.....DS (age 3) and I will be skipping the Thrill Ride Tour because I happen to think that PoC and The Jungle Cruise are the ultimate 'thrills' (LOL ), so Michael and I will be going to the MK since this will be our first park day.....and to him Disney World IS the MK Then we're going to take a rest and then DH and DD will cut their Thrill Ride Tour short to join us for the evening.....we don't want to be apart our whole first day, so I'm calling to see if we can get into CLP this night.

You are always welcome to join Michael and I. I'm trying to not committ to anything this day...as I want Michael to enjoy himself as much as possible.....because after this.......it's COMMANDO STYLE from there on out!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think there is mini-golf during the 29th as well. Why not draw up a plan and submit it to the big wigs of the convention?

We won't be going on the thrill ride tour as the pace is just too much for the kids. I am not sure what we are doing that day.
