A couple questions about SSR

Just wondering about a couple of questions regarding SSR.

#1 Wonder why Disney has not put a very short bridge between building #11 in the Paddock connecting to the area of building #5 in the Springs?

#2 Can you rent bikes from an outside company to use at Disney Springs like you can at Hilton Head?

1. Expense, possibly. Structural ground issues may also be a thing. Most of WDW is built on swamp.

2. All of them in/near are controlled by Disney. Not sure if there are outside vendors who might deliver.
