I've seen in a couple of guides that there are gardens in Japan but I've never been able to find a picture or a description of the gardens. Does anyone know of any sites that either do a good job of describing them or have pictures? I have a particular fondness for Japanese ornamental gardens and rock gardens and I'd just like to know if I should be excited to see them or if I should take a look but not expect too much.
Also I was browsing through a guide in the bookstore tonight and for the first time I saw a mention of an African section in WS that has what was described as an interractive drum circle. My 11 year old has been fortunate to have a music teacher at his school who teaches the kids African drumming and leads a drum club that he has been in for 3 years and by the time we go my 8 year old will have been in for a semester. They're very interested to know more about this and just exactly how it's interractive, as in will they be able to join the circle but I've never seen this mentioned before so I don't have a clue.
Thanks for any information you can pass on.
