I'm not sure if you are asking the restaurant question about OKW and SSR or all the resorts, but I will give you my opinion ..
Beach Club Villas!
You have all the places at the Beach Club, Yacht Club and within easy walking distance, the Boardwalk.
Also, not having a car there is no problem what so ever.
I have to second this one...partially, just because....well, I love the BCV!! But, also because I think it is true.
BCV has SOOO many dining options for small children (my dd is 4)...she loves Beaches 'n Cream, and eating at Hurricane Hannas around sunset is really cool, too (especially when she gets the kids meal with the bucket and shovel...we take it, and some bread to feed the ducks on the beach and make sand castles, even when we don't feel like SAB). BCV is also the only
DVC property to have a character meal onsite....Goofy's b'fast with Minnie and Chip/Dale is really good, and you can't beat the location. Also, the BCV marketplace has really good food (hot sandwiches, custom caesar salads, etc) and yummy gelato and gourmet desserts. For nice family meals, Cape May cafe has a really good dinner buffet, and for Mom and Dad...you can have a nice, romantic steak dinner at Yachtsmen Steakhouse overlooking SAB.
Plus, you are near the BWV restaurants, and just a few minutes walk from all the yummy food in Epcot! Seriously, our only complaint every trip is that we feel like we didn't spend enough time at BCV. There is so much to do there, but at the same time...it is SOO relaxing!!
