My 180 window opens up in a couple of weeks for our trip in Nov. I have just a couple of questions.

My parents will be joining us and we will eat some meals together and some meals seperatly. I am planning the whole trip and will be making all the ADRs online. So my question is can I make them all under my name, or do I need to make the ones under their name when we're not eating together? I can log in under my mom's name and set up their ADRs under her account, but just wondered if it woud matter if they are under my name and I'm not the one eating there.

Also, my DH wants to have one dinner with just me and him, so our DD will eat with my parents at Chef Mickey's while DH and I eat at Ohana. We will be on the DDP, but will have separate rooms, DH, DD and myself in one and my parents in another.

I plan on giving DD ticket/key card to my parents so they use her card to pay for her meal. Her card is linked to our room and will have the DDP on it, correct? Will there be any issues when my parents pay? They will have to use two cards, one for their meal and one for DD.

First, I think its best (just to avoid any hassle) if you created an account under your mom's name and booked her ressies separate from yours. It doesnt matter if your not dining at the restaurant, you can still technically make the ressie. BUT if you make 2 ressies for the same time under your name, you might have problems. I've had ppl say that disney will delete one of the ressies if you dont "correct the problem" with the double booking. So to avoid that, to be safe, i would book your mom's ressie separately.

Secondly, there wont be any problems for your parents if you give your DD her KTTW card. Your parents wont get charged for anything. So dont worry about that.

Enjoy your vacay! :goodvibes

I agree with PP.

It is best to make the reservations under different names and phone numbers. That way there is no chance for Disney to think you are double booking a meal and cancel your ressie.

And yes your daughter will need her KTTW card to use her dining credit. Just inform your parents to let the server know ahead of time that she is on a seperate account, that way he/she can bring the appropriate bills.

Have a good time!!

Thanks! I will put my parents ADRs under their own name so that one or both ressies won't get canceled.

There have also been a few reports of BOTH reservations being deleted without notice. Best to make them under different names if you can.

The key card should always go with the child so her dining credits can be used. Yes, your parents will need to use both key cards -theirs and hers - to pay for a meal together.
