A couple of questions from a beginner...

The bad doesn't distort the image quality because the lens is actually pointed out through the bag opening. One of the posters on this site has some instructions on his homepage that I used. http://willcad.org/image_cameraponcho.html

I used the kind of bag that has a zipper type closure and just closed it tight around the end of the lens. Its not water PROOF but very water resistant. I also had a protective UV filter on the lens. I used my 28-135mm IS in the bag for this series of shots.

I was actually talking to my wife about this yesterday. I was looking for a good book on photography at the Disney Theme Parks and couldn't find any at all. She also suggested that I write a book. Who knows, after my company does a 30% layoff in a couple of months, I may suddenly have a lot of time for book writing. The best part would be tax deductable camera gear and trips to the Theme Parks.
