Is it much more expensive to rent a car at a airport location?

Also, what would be a really good daily rate for a minivan?

That is a really broad question as it all depends on what time of year you are renting. At the moment I have a mid sized SUV booked for August 5-16 and it cost me $342 with Alamo. That was booking it through Costco with various discount codes and was booked the beginning of the year. That same car now is around $800 for the same time period. There is a minivan thread to look at too.

Good luck

You might get a better rate renting off the airport property and some companies have shuttles to their rental site, we did that once, never again.

Your best bet is go to travelocity and do a car rental search for vans at MCO. They will list almost all the car rental companies there and the prices.

A pp stated about they went with Costco and that's a very good idea or if you're a Sam's member check at their travel site. I got a full size SUV for 7 days from Avis for my family through Sam's for 1st week in this Dec. for $315. Other sites for Avis was over $50 plus higher. Also national and Hertz are outrageous with thier prices. Both were almost $150 higher for same vehicle. Sites like Priceline and Travelocity many times don't give you the best price available but what they have contracted with. Also check with your company to see what discounts they might have with companies.
