Hi

My DW and I spent last weekend at WDW and we made a couple of observations, not sure if I should write to WDW or not, it by no means spoiled or fun or stay but just was not what we have normally seen in the past.

1) Resort issue

We stayed at POFQ on the third floor, we do not usually use elevators for three floors but I broke three toes 2 weeks before leaving so this time we did. The elevators in building three were in dirty and smelled bad, the floor mats had tears and pieces missing it looked just plain shabby, the stainless walls were filthy I understand the amount of traffic going thru those things but it looked like the grime had grime on it. Like I said not a major thing but still I have never seen hotel property at WDW looking that shabby.

2) Theme park issue
This one that I found far more disturbing again not that it ruined my vacation but I have not witnessed this myself before on property

We were in Harambe village shopping at the big store there. It was early about 9:15 am or so and we had been in the store for a few minutes and two of the cast members in the store got into an argument. You could tell there was some heated words exchanged and something about that’s not what it said in the email and one person mentioned the schedule and that is when my wife and I left. It was not like they were back stage or anything but right in the middle of the floor. We go on vacation to get away from all the arguments and stuff. It just surprised us to see this going on in front of guests.

Do I report it? I am not upset by any means just not sure how to handle it.

Thanks Dave

The condition of the elevator should be addressed.

The CM's arguing on the other hand, I would just let go. Especially if there was no questionable language.

Sometimes people have a bad day. I agree it should have been handled off-stage, however when people are in that situation they cant realyl think too straight.

The elevator thing is kind of surprising. The stainless i can see getting finger printy, but the floor torn up? No.

Thanks for the thoughts that is why I posted here
If I can later I will post pics of the flooring of the elevators

Thanks again

Dave
