for the PM hours, are the parks ALWAYS open 3 hours later? Regardless on which park it is...even Animal Kingdom?

Also, it seems that when we're down there (May 30-June 6) there's some days with no AM EMH or PM EMH...will those days go without or will they eventually pick a park to fill in the empty days?

Thanks! :bride:

They have been so far, but since the verbage states "up to 3 hours", I suppose that means it could be less. My guess is that it depends on crowds and weather. If it's raining, for example, and there aren't a lot of people taking in the EMH night, I can see them ending early.

Animal Kingdom was 3 hours later and even when it stormed and they had to close all the outside things, It's Tough to be a Bug still was running.

Don't be angry when in Magic Kingdom there are still tons of lines when EMH starts in the pm. It thinned out about 45 minutes after the park closed.

We were just there a couple weeks ago and really loved the night EMH times!! :cool1: Yes it was a bit crowded at first but after the people left that weren't staying on site it was great!!! And the CM's were really enforcing the wrist bans!

awesome thanks! I guess I'm surprised that Animal Kingdom would actually stay open until 9pm...if the Safari is still running do you even see any animals when riding it that late at night?!

We too will be there during that May 30-June 6 window and have the same questions about p.m. EMH - wonder how the animals don't get confused when allowed to stay out 3 hours later :confused3

I'm only interested in a few attractions over at MK so on Wednesday after AK closes, I'm going to rest and then Hop myself over to MK shortly before it closes get myself a wristband and enjoy the few rides I want to see that evening. THE evening EMH seems like a wonderful idea and I can't wait to ride Haunted Mansion.

The last safari ride was 7 pm, so that did close down, but they were SO strict with the wrist bands, we went at 6:05 and there was a 5 minute wait and they were standing at the entrance turning down non wrist band people, it was funny. There were other things that closed when the park did, you have to check the schedule that the hotel gives that says what rides are open for EMH.

Does anyone know if we get to take advantage of the extra hours?

Not unless it's a Disney owned resort. Don't think it is, but if you think so, call the hotel and ask.

GKTW is a private resort where all the Wish foundations send their wish kids when they wish to go to WDW. It's in Kissimmee.

Nora94,
thanks for the info on the wristbands - sounds great, now if they could just do something about those pesky chair holders around the pool . . . . . :cool1:
