A couple of Beaches & Cream ?s

I have 11:35 lunch reservations at the Garden Grill for 11/24, but Disney has decided to discontinue lunch at GG So I have decided that we will have a day without any ADRs (this is killing my inner Obsessive Complusive Disney Planner - maybe we should start a support group ).

We have always wanted to try Beaches and Cream. We tried to go our last trip, but couldn't find it (this was before I discovered the DIS. Now, not only can I find it. I know the fastest route, what is on the menu, the prices and what the food looks like ) Ok, on to my questions:

What time does B&C open for lunch?
If I get there close to opening will I have to wait too long for a seat?

11:00 am and no you will not have to wait long.

We did B&C on our last day of our vacation we walked over around 12:00 pm and we did not have to wait . When we were leaving around 1:00pm there was still no lines. I think if you get there early enough you should be fine.
