Once you get your AP voucher, is there a time limit in which you must activiate it? Or could we, say get AP vouchers for our kids for Christmas, or for birthday gifts, for a trip that's still a few months away?

And, if you get regular Annual Passes, use them for a trip, then, for the next trip within the same year decide you want to do waterparks & such, upgrade them to Premium APs? Or do they have to be unsed in order to upgrade?

Not sure of the Upgrade to PAP's

But I have 3 vouchers here since Dec right before the price increase.CM told me they don't expire just don't lose them.We are going in June and will activate them then.

They will allow you to upgrade your AP to PAP at the then current price for the PAP. You only get the value of what you paid for the AP towards the PAP.

As poohstx posted, you upgrade at the total price difference between an AP and a PAP.

For example, the current difference in price is about $110. Say you purchase and activate your regular AP on April 15, 2006. On December 15, 2006, you want to upgrade. There is no prorated price, you will pay the $110 and the PAP will be backdated to the purchase date of the regular AP, so it will expire on April 15, 2007.

That answers it. We're thinking of getting AP's for a January trip, and I told dh I didn't think we'd need PAPs since we likely won't be going to any water parks or DTD. He said, "Yeah, but what if we go again later in the year and want to go to waterparks?" I just wanted to reassure him that the option would still be there.

We're also thinking of getting each child an AP voucher as their birthdays roll around during the year prior to the trip - might as well kill 2 birds with one stone so to speak (there needs to be another saying that means the same thing). Nice to know that's an option.
