A couple MNSSHP questions

I am soooooooooo excited, I just noticed that the MNSSHP starts on 9/15!!! We can go to the 9/22 party! It's a dream come true for me!!!!

Anyway, are the parks decorated a lot for halloween? I was already wondering that before I knew the party was going on in Sept.

Also,

I know DS and I can go, but DH is playing in the softball world series in the Wide World of Sports, so I don't want to buy him a ticket since we have no idea if he can go. Will tickets be available at the gate??? Are they usually?

No, none of the parks decorate for Halloween, not even Magic Kingdom, UNTIL the party itself. Then MK transforms and its amazing! The lights, smoke, music, decorations etc...its an amazing sight to see how they transform the park in just a couple of hours.

Will tickets be available at the gate??? Are they usually?

Yes, you can buy your tickets over the phone, online, at your resort, or at MK. The only nights that might sell out are the last couple and Halloween night. Last year they didn't sell out till the end of September. So I think you are safe to wait without the fear of it selling out.

You will the the advance purchase price up until the day of. If you buy the tickets the day of, then you will have to pay the gate price.
