A couple Magic Band Questions

We used the MagicBands for the first time last December and no problems before or during our stay. They showed up in My Disney Experience just fine and we were able to link our annual passes to them along with a 7-day ticket to my mom's band. All our reservations were linked too like dinners and fastpasses.

We have a trip coming up in Nov. with 4 of us...2 of us will be using annual passes, while the other two will be using 7-day tickets. We only have the exchange vouchers for the annual passes right now. We will be staying at OKW resort.

First, I booked the resort for all 4 of us. We had no park tickets at this point. When I went onto My Disney Experience (MDE), it showed that we could customize our 4 magic bands and link our resort reservation to them, which I did. Next, I made our dining reservations and linked them to the account. So far, so good.

Now, here where things started to get confusing. First off, we had an un-used 7-day ticket from last year....never activated. So, three of our party of 4 needed park tickets.

I went online and purchased 2 annual passes through the DVC site. Then a couple days later, I stopped at our local AAA and got the last 7-day ticket that I needed. So, I now have 2 7-day tickets and 2 annual pass exchange cards.

Now, on My Disney Experience I see a MagicBand order for 4, all 4 people in our party is listed. I went in and customized the bands. Now it says, "All your MagicBands are customized!" It also says that we have 76 days left to customize. Shows our resort reservation on the same line.

But here's the weird deal. On the MagicBands order page there is a second line item that shows another MagicBand Order, quantity 2, Affiliation Disney Passholder.....Status: Ready to ship.

Just to throw more confusion into the mix, on the same page "MagicBands & Cards", when you scroll down to "Select a MagicBand or Card to Manage Its Status" it shows our old magicbands and old tickets from our previous 3 trips. They are shown as inactive.

So here's where I am confused. First off, the order for 2 Disney Passholder bands, says "Ready to ship at your request"....if I do, I am assuming I will get 2 magicbands Right? Now, what about the other 2 people in our party? That order does not give me the option of shipping at my request. Does this order for 4 bands ship automatically? Has anyone seen this before? I read somewhere that you can use your old magicbands but just to keep things simple I would just like to get 4 new bands and have everything linked to them. Any suggestions? This seems to be really screwed up right now.

Correct. Yours are ready to ship now because they're AP MB and Disney recognizes that not everyone with an AP will have a resort stay.

MB that are linked to reservation will ship about 30 days prior to the check-in date.

Any suggestions?

Don't worry. It all looks fine.
