First, on the average about how long does it take to get a face painted? Is it just one person doing the painting or several--we'll have three kids with us and I don't want to take a lot of time. Secondly, what are some of the different characters they have available?

I know in AK they have 2 chairs (maybe 3?) working at the same time. How long depends on what you want done. If you just have a little decoration around the eyes, it would be just a couple minutes, probably. My daughter usually gets her whole face (zebra once, monkey another) and it probably takes 5 or 10 minutes.

There's a whole poster filled with the different designs you can get. I think it varies a bit depending on where you get it.

Thanks for answering my question! If the lines are too long I think we will let them get their faces painted---that will make an adorable picture! One more question---do the prices vary according for the paintings?

and our 2 girls got their faces painted at MGM. It was on the street with Walt Disney tour, mickey sorcerer, and who wants to be a..... The prices vary according to the design. There were 3 ladies working so my two got done at the same time with no wait. They got a medium design--not too small---not the whole face. It took around 5-7 min. They were so excited!! They kept it on all day (no swimming that day--it was below 70 and windy) and everyone commented on it. That night at bathtime, it came off easily--soap and water with a washcloth. We took pictures of it so that they could remember it. Believe it or not, according to them, it was one of the highlights of their trip!

Prices vary by how much of the face is covered. I really can't remember how much the whole face cost, maybe around $10.

Yes, when we had my dd done in AK I think that is cost $12 for the whole face. They do an amazing job.

Hi,

Our girls got their faces painted in
toontown at MK. Follow the link below
to see a picture of them.

It took around 10 minutues to do the
actual painting but we stood in line
for about 20 other minutes. Each face
cost us $ 12.00. Good luck.

Oh wow! Thanks so much for the pic! What beautiful paintings and what beautiful children! I think I'll definitely let the kids do this!!!!

I am 16 and got my face painted on the trip in January. $12.00 and I was a leopard. Black lips, painted nose, whiskers, the who shebang. I loved it! I got so much attn it was awesome! Then to top it all off Jasmine "scolded" me for not having a tiger on my face. lol I am alot older so I got a little different attn. then the little kids but it was still a blast. It was at Magic Kingdom...8 chairs I believe, maybe it was only 6. My face to maybe five minutes and the line was moving really fast. My little brothers went back and got thier done, pirates, both at the same time and theres were about five minutes too. Well worth the $12!

If you have little ones, ask them not to paint their lips. 3 yr old ds got his face painted as this awesome tiger in AK, but his lips were painted black with gold glitter and 2 seconds later he had licked and wiped them until it was smeared all over everything including me, LOL. I did get some great pictures and it was worth the $10 I think we paid.
