A commercial you see all the time for a product you will never buy

^^ I agree. Funny thing with most of those attorney commercials is they are actually NOT attorneys and it seems to be some 3rd party referral service. My guess is they want a cut of the $$ attorneys make from all of those lawsuits. With most lawsuits, the lawyers end up with the majority of the $$, hence the reason to always be advertising about suing some company.

Products I don't like (Pepsi, for example), no amount of clever advertising, having a popular celebrity spokesperson or catchy tune will change the fact I don't like the taste of their product. I never buy any product just become some well-known movie star/celebrity speaks highly of it. Their paid endorsement means nothing to me since I wouldn't be surprised to find they have never even used the product.

For any prescription drug where the potential side effects are far far far worse than what they treat.

I don't watch tv, so I don't see any ads, but I do hear a lot of ads on podcasts for products that I will never, ever need.

also can’t stand the Sarah Mclachlin sad puppy adds. The song alone hurts my ears! I hate Limu emu -what the heck does an Emu have to do with anything??

I think they are trying to use the Emu as a clever take on the Gecko used by their competitor. The continuing sagas with Flo are just annoying, like a bad TV series. Odd they never actually talk about the quality/cost of their insurance.

Those pathetic puppy ads are mostly intended to raise money to pay the salaries of the people running that 'charity'. Saw somewhere that over 95% of the money collected is used to run their business..........i.e. paying salaries/overhead/tv ads, etc. If you want to do some good, donate directly to your local animal shelter.

Well, it's not really a "product" and I'd probably never go to an Applebee's anyway, but their new commercial just sealed the deal. That thing is AWFUL.

Any commercial that insults my intelligence or is just plain stupid. For example:

Liberty Mutual “Get your wet teddy bears”

Bounty with the spill and the lottery ticket. Rather than picking up the lottery ticket quickly, your first instinct is to grab a Bounty towel to stop the spill from getting to your winning ticket. Really?

Mentioned before- the mom chasing the kid around with the healthy broccoli and finally getting the kid to sit down and eat Kraft Mac. Gee, we know who won that battle.

All prescription drug commercials.

All ambulance chasing commercials. When at WDW I get so tired of hearing on the tv “Morgan and Morgan. For the people.”

The ridiculously long list of side effects that some prescription drug commercials have. You really think I would want to take something that 'might cause death'?

Why do I keep getting online ads/e-mails for certain "male" pills???

It's not like I ever need them. :rolleyes1

I SWEAR I never did a search for them either. ;)

I don't even know what they are selling, but the one where the guy is trying to teach people not to be like their parents. Some of the things not to do.......print out boarding passes, bringing (instead of buying) snacks for plane, writing out directions.

There's one commercial for a drug (Jardiance?) where the band director leads the marching band onto a football field while there is a game in progress. She then catches the football. Dumb!

Little Caesar’s Pizza, it’s the last commercial I just saw.

I agree with so many here, but I like Jimmy Dean Sausage.

So, I keep the tv on during the day mostly for background noise. I hear some commercials repeated VERY frequently, and it got me to thinking about the products they are advertising.

One, in particular, is just pervasive. Jimmy Dean sausage. I have never in my life eaten or purchased any Jimmy Dean product and never intend to. Yet, I hear this commercial numerous times a day, on different channels. What is it with this company? No, I won't be buying your roll of meat, thanks.

What's a commercial you can't stop hearing for a product you will never buy?
A roll of meat!! Omg. 😂😂😂

I see the same commercials multiple times a day too…. We don’t buy rolls of meat either.

I actually find some of them funny (maybe because they hit a bit too close to home! - paper boarding passes anyone?)
