It started with a sore throat on Wednesday. Then that turned into a cough on Friday. Now I just don't feel well and I'm coughing like a seal. But no stuffy nose or head.

Is this just a weird cold?

And I have a very clogged head, runny nose, achy body but no cough:rolleyes:

I used get bronchitis a lot when I taught preschool (impossible to duck all those kiddie-germs!) and sometimes it started with a real "raw" throat...then a dry cough...then the yucky, mucous-y cough. Sometimes had a stuffy nose with it, but not always. Don't hesitate to call Dr. if you feel it's needed. I let a nasty cough go for a few weeks one time and ended up with pneumonia.

I hope you're feeling better real soon!:sunny:

I second the don't hesitate to call the dr. I am rounding out the end of antibiotics and prednisone for pneumonia and had little if no stuffy nose just a horrible chest thing!

Thanks for the advice guys. I'll be calling the doc first thing in the morning.:D (As I hack away  )

Please consider the possibility that the dry cough, stuffy nose, etc. might be an allergic reaction. I've had this happen and then develop into bronchitis and weeks of sickness. The doctor finally prescribed Nasonex at the first sign of symptoms and I have been spared real sickness for two seasons!!!! It might be worth a thought!!
