Day 12 Wednesday 27th December 2006

A very uninteresting day for Trip Report readers! :surfweb: So I will be brief, no photos either. The weather forecast is still nowhere near up to going to Clearwater, we don’t think we will make the beach this week which is a shame.

Bright and cold, the morning constitutional in the hot tub was lovely, with the steam rising off as if we were in the mountains! We dragged ourselves out and headed off out towards Orange City to meet up with a friend of mine who owns Scrapbook Extraordinaire (so a busman’s holiday for me!!) Normally I see her at the scrapbook trade shows in the States. It’s nice to see other people’s businesses and I am very envious for the size of store that can be rented in a good position for far less than the rent I have to pay!! We picked up a few items but nearly everything I already have in my shop! Fortunately, the clever friend has added a superb café/Ice Cream Parlour at the front of the store, so the troops are kept happy with coffe and gorgeous sundaes.

It’s late afternoon by the time we get back to the Florida Mall. Sally bought herself some Heelys with her Christmas money, I got a pair of closed in black crocs (boring but sensible for walking the dog at home). Browsed in the Yankee Candle Shop and admired the surf shop with the real water!! Sally made me a Scrapbook Bear (which lives in the shop now) at the Bear Factory as the Scrapbook outfit isn’t available in the UK.

We drove round to the Olive Garden and had a good meal, we have never been here before and would return. I’m afraid I have nade no notes as to what we had and how much. I said today was boring for the reader!!

Back to the villa, tomorrow is better honest, bear with me!!

Tomorrow: Meeting with friends, TGI Fridays and MGM for Fantasmic

Day 13 Thurs 28th Dec Meeting with friends, TGI Fridays and MGM for Fantasmic

the closed in black crocs? I have the mammouths which are closed in and the boots. Are these the ones that still have the open back?

I have 8 pairs of crocs now and am very interesed in different ones.
