we want a cheap hotel room for one night near disney, from where we will then go early in the morning to the cheyenne to check in for our first day. any reccommendations?

You could either go for one of the off-sites ie. the Explorers, Dream Castle, Magic Circus or Kyriad (the Kyriad is usually the cheapest) or, for even lower costs, have a look at hotels in Val d'Europe, Torcy or Bussy St Georges. Have a look at the Hotel FAQ sticky as there's links to book budget and offsite hotels through. :)

Hi, we did Kyriad in December - b&b was £105 for the 4 of us, not bad for a few days before xmas, and the room and breakfast were both fine. We had booked Kyriad for the night before our May trip for £85, but travel republic have got the Magic Circus for £95 B&B so we have just changed to that as we wanted to have a try of somewhere different. There are some real budget places around, so it depends on what you call cheap!

I would second the Explorers which my kids love....it has a great little pool which is open all day until late :thumbsup2

We stayed for 1 night on our previous trip, and checked in well before 3pm to make the most of the pool.

Think we booked in advance with a non-refundable option which was quite a bit cheaper than normal.

thanks guys, we've found something for £65. since we check in at about 11pm and check out before breakfast the next day ,the cheaper the better!

I can I ask which hotel this price is for please? I am looking for something for our first night too but the cheapest I can find for 2 adults and 2 kids is £100. Thanks very much.

we have done the 'stay in a different hotel for the first night' plan for probably the last 5 - 6 trips to DLRP, we fidd the best one to be the exploeres hotel if you book it early enough and through their own website (ie. not disney just google the hotel and their website will come up) you can get it really cheap last booking we made i believe it was only around £60 for 6 people but we booked waaaay in advance.... (im talking about 4 months in advance) so check on there
