A change in our plans!

Well some of you might remember a while ago I posted saying that we thought we would be going on our next Florida trip in 2008 or 2009 and that it would be just me, dh, dd and future ds or dd. well it seems all that has now changed and half of the family is coming with us!! It will be great fun - plus lots of free baby sitters!! So my question to you is..... where will I find a villa that will accomodate 11 adults, 6 children and 3 teenagers?


ANy help would be greatly appreciated as I think we will have to start planning this soon!!

OMG! Um....I'm thinking 2 villas next to each other might be an easier option, ....and i thought I got carried away with adding people. ..

Nah, you're going to have an amazing time and i would never refuse free babysitting thats for sure. Think I'll have a scout around for a group specialist. Just thought that maybe a travel counsellor would have experience in this area, I'll keep you posted if i think of anything,

Can't help about the villa, but that sounds wonderful having laods of family membes coming along

The max capacity I can find for a villa is 16 people in a 7 bedroom but I'll keep looking. Really think you might have to split into 2 groups, it would give you that little bit more quiet...well half of it anyway

haven't heard of them before so can't recommend them, but i basically put in a google search for florida villas for 20 people and they came up with this as well as several other companies. Might be a good place to start,

They seem expensive (although not really if you consider how many people they sleep...), but are very big and look stunning

I am thinking that we might need to rent out a few villas - I think this would work out better if we could hire say 3 4 bed ones or something - each family could be seperate then - as much as I love my brothers and their kids I don't think I could live with them !

I think that is a good idea, then it saves problems at the time from everyone living together.

I think seperate is the way to go, I just realised that DH has asked some friends to come too - so that bumps our people total up by another 6 adults and 2 kiddies!! this is going to be a BIG TRIP!!!

Apparently DH has also sorted them all out with a savings plan to be able to afford it! He is such a number cruncher!
