Yah, yah, yah... Love ya!
I hope you get well long before 10 days has passed. It's so boring and exhausting being sick.
Today started good here at home. My oldest cat wanted to go out for a while for the first time in 2 weeks He has also been eating today. I'm crossing my fingers that this will continue.
Me too! Thanks Lillian!
It sure sounds promising with your cats, I sure hope it continues.
10 days!?! Serioulsy, does that doctor think folks can just lie around for ten days HOPING to get better??? Oh, wouldn't that be nice if we could, though?
Such FUN photos of Alli and Gus!! I totally am happy for Alli...you should definitely be BFF's first. I am sure she made a wonderful choice. I made that whole statement in SUPPORT of Alli's choice. I know that she and Gus both put things on hold when you and Josh were not comfortable with the situation last year. It shows that they are both very respectful...that is a GOOD thing! That is also affirmation of GOOD PARENTING, so pat yourselves on the back! I wish them the very best as they explore all the fun and joy of a new relationship; and hope that they also get to learn the comfort and trust of a lasting relationship as well!
Yah - that's what I thought.

Praying I am better before then.
Thank you Connie... I agree - they are great kids. It's so much fun to see them spending time together and enjoying themselves... I find myself anxiously awaiting her arrival back home after being out with him, so I can hear all about it. I feel like the biggest dork - but it's just so sweet.
The photo shoot was so cute. Gus learning to sew. Great memories you all are making. Sorry you are still not feeling well. Marissa had something similar on the way back from WDW and it lasted a couple of weeks, but only the first few days were really bad. The cough tends to stay around for awhile. A few people at work are still coughing and it has been weeks, but it isn't the chest bruising coughing anymore, so hopefully you will get past that point very soon.
Have a good day and get lots of rest, even though you are tired of being couped up at home.
THanks Shannon...
I've been hearing that - I hope this doesn't stick around, but it sure seems to be.
I tried to rest - but I just couldn't do it anymore... I flew the coop for a little while yesterday afternoon, it felt good.
Thank you Mo for making water come out my nose!
She's good for that.
Oh Miss D - I finally make time to catch up on your TR and I find you sick! No fun! I never, ever take a chance at not going to the doctor's any more - I thought I had a bad cold with fever and didn't go to the doc until I was like crawling around on the floor sick and it turned out I had pneumonia in both lungs and was sick for about 6 weeks; never again. I don't care if they tell me its just allergies or just a cold. I hope you make a quick turnaround and start feeling better. Take care of yourself!!
Loved all your updates on the trip. Like I said, your Disney magic makes me smile. Even hot, sticky, hungry photos! Keep dragging this out sloooowly so I won't get too behind.
Its funny how people say you think you want something you don't have. I have always wanted to be able to stay home and have a clean house and time to work out and run errands and do whatever. I know I would get bored too, but when the kids were in school and I was working it was so hard juggling everything. Now with both kids out and about, if I work late, which is usual, and get to the gym, I still don't get home until around 7:00. So weekends are for errands, washing clothes and cleaning house. Ugh. You will something to fill up your time when the girls spread their wings. You are so talented and so outgoing something will come your way. And you have such an amazing relationship with your girls you will always be close no matter how far they fly. I won't lie, it is hard, but you adjust.
Loved hearing about Allison and Gus. Its important for your daughters to find men who treat them with respect and it looks like Alli has found a winner. They are very, very cute together.
Remember to get on the web site I PM you about for your SD trip - you will find so many ideas and places to stay!
Will, I guess since I have finished eating my lunch I don't have any excuses any more and I have to get back to work.
Hugs and prayers D!
I am trying to get better... I am just so tired of sitting around the house.

I swear, I now have a butt groove in my recliner seat.
I do enjoy being a WAHM... But sometimes it's hard - like when Josh is hunting and the girls are off doing their own thing - then it really is just me... and being sick on top of it - it was even harder, because I couldn't really go anywhere.
Yah, I love seeing Alli and Gus enjoy themselves... She runs around like she is on cloud 9 almost every day... It's so cute! I remember those days... Swoon.
I hope you are doing well Carol! I hope Shane is doing well too... If you have the time to PM me with an update, I would love that.

Take care and thanks for stopping by!
Catching up again...sorry to hear you are sick. Hope you feel better soon! I am at 35 weeks and getting anxious. I have work stuff that needs to get done before baby gets here. I need to get on the ball. Don't think my body will relax until I get my list done. No energy to sew lately, so thank goodness my daughter wants to be Elsa for Halloween and we have several dressses to choose from!! (No originality this year. Oh well). Better hit send before phone dies....
It's getting so close!!! I hope the remainder goes fast for you. I think you are totally forgiven for not being able to do original costumes this year.
D~ So sorry that you're sick. I know the feeling. I had a stomach virus at the beginning of October. Put me out of work for 2 days and I am NOT the person who misses work. Then once my stomach was doing better I got a terrible chest cold. I was so miserable for about a week and a half. But the good news is, now that its over and done with, it could've been worse. I'm so thankful that it wasn't worse. The first day I had myself convinced that I had appendicitis and the anxiety from that was NOT helping.
You have to trust yourself to know your body and trust your decisions. Go to the doctor when you don't think you can handle it or when you can't convince yourself that it'll pass quickly is how I generally try to treat my illnesses. I tend to get bronchitis a lot and I've stopped going to the doctor for that because the medicine the give me never seems to help and I know it will go away. But I also allow myself to realize that one day it may be something worse.
Hopefully, you'll be back to normal in the blink of an eye and creating more of those beautiful purses. Loved that fireworks one! Cinderella's castle to take with you every day, awesome!
Get well soon
Lisa
Yes, it's no fun being sick... Thankfully, I had been working ahead in my sewing room, so I've been able to easily take some time off here and there to rest.
I do hate going to the Dr... but I realize that sometimes it's so necessary - I just didn't feel like this time it was, even though I was miserable. Oh well, I went and I know I don't have anything I can be treated for.
Thank you so much!!! Thanks for stopping by and checking in.
**********************************************************
Well... Yesterday - I was really stir crazy again...
I spent my morning being lazy on the computer... Then I decided to bust out of here and head to the mall. I had an exchange I needed to do. It really wasn't worth the 45 minute drive there and the 45 minute drive back - but I just needed to get out of the house. I think I was inside the mall itself for less than 10 minutes... and I was very careful not to touch anything or cough the entire time I was in there.
I picked up Alli from school and we went to Perkins, I bought her an early dinner and I just sat there and drank decaf coffee the entire time.
Dropped her off at work and came home... Made left-overs for dinner and relaxed.
I woke this morning, feeling quite a bit better. I still have a rattle in my chest - but it doesn't really burn or tickle at the moment.
I plan to workout this morning - but I will do something easy.
I also plan to start next week's bag today... I am still working a little bit ahead. But that's OK. I am really excited about this bag - the fabric is PERFECT for it.
Since I am a little ahead this morning - I think I may try to squeeze in an update too.
I hope you all have a great day! Prayers and good thoughts to all of you!
D~
