A celebration and a veggie question

I am officially 1 week cheat free! Yea me!!!

But yesterday my sister brought up a veggie question. I eat lots of vegetables. I take about 1/2 bag of frozen veggies for lunch and eat 1/2 bag for dinner. I use butter spray on them so I count it as 0 points. I don't do this with corn or carrots or peas or potatoes (a habit I picked up from Atkins) but I use cauliflower, broccoli, sugar snap peas, whole green beans, brussel sprouts.

Well yesterday my sister said if I was taking so much it should count as a point. Even though these are 0 points for 1 serving, they are 1 point for multiple servings.

So I bite the bullet and decide to count the point, but then I feel like I won't eat vegetables as readily. So then I thought if I used my activity points as my veggie points it would work out about even. But this still bothers me because if I ate 3 serving of 3 different 0 point vegetables it would be 0 points!

Help me!!!! I'm obsessing! I lost 3 pounds this week. If I were stalled or gaining then I would have to reconsider how many 0 point items I eat, but I'm doing good. But I also don't want to feel like I'm cheating with my veggie points.

Any opinions out there???

Personally I don't count veggies unless I'm eating a TON of them all at once which never happens. I don't think a half bag of frozen veggies in one sitting is too much to still count as 0. I have heard many people say that eating too many veggies didn't get you where you are today. If you are still losing then don't count them. If you hit a plateau or start gaining then you might want to rethink how much you eat for 0 points.

Hello! Dr. Phil checkining in here! LOL! "Is what you're doing working for you?" Keep eating those veggies honey! They do a body good, and you are living proof!

Keep the Faith!

1st--Congratulations to you! You are doing it!

2nd--honeymo78 and tlgoblue said it all as I figure.
When you hit that plateau, (and as Katholyn reminds us, it's the plateau that lasts for a month with no loss in inches or weight) then you make additional adjustment in diet and exercise. You got a good thing going. Keep on keepin' on.
