A Canadian's First Family Trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth

My mother made the dresses, and she is an amazing seamstress. I am very lucky. Keep reading the trip report and you will see what I look like! I do eventually post pictures

I absolutely LOVE the girls dresses and outfits! Your mom is very talented! Can I ask...did she use patterns or did she just come up with the designs on her own? Im thinking of asking my husbands aunt to make some dresses for our girls...she's pretty handy at stuff like that! And how did she find the Disney fabric...is that fairly easy to find in fabric shops or did she have to special order? THANKS!

We found EVERYTHING for the dresses at the Walmart fabric dept. The pattern is a Walmart brand I believe, (as I have never seen it in a specialty fabric store), and it was just sitting in the display rounders by all the patterns. In Ontario, where I live, Walmart seems to be the only place that sells Disney fabric. I refuse to shop online with American shops as I pay so much for shipping/duty/brokerage fees etc! The specialty fabric stores do not carried licensed fabrics here.

If you know someone who can sew using patterns, it is quite simple (according to Mom of course!) to follow. I hope your husband's aunt can help you out!
