I haven't been to WDW in a couple years and I haven't been on a DDP in over 5 years, so I have a few questions :)

1. Is there anything Non BBQ at Polite Pig? My S/O does not like BBQ and I can't wait to try the Orange Blossom Cake :)
2. How is the Create your own salad and the Chef's Carving Table at POR?
3. Can you eat in Indiana Jones theater? (I can't remember)
4. Rose and Crown dinner at 8pm. From what I've heard the view of Illuminations is good here. Is this true? How is the food? I'm going with someone that does not like/cannot have sweet food (Sugar sensitive).

TIA

I can't answer all of your questions, but I can tell you that in June, the Create your own salad and Chef's Carving Table at POR were wonderful. The salad I got had all the fresh veggies on it that I wanted and was very filling. And I had Turkey one night and Beef another night at the Carving Table station. The sides, to me, left a little bit to be desired. It was corn and mashed potatoes both times, and I prefer other vegetables.

Also, you can eat in the Indiana Jones Theater.

You can definitely eat in the Indiana Jones theatre. Same for Beauty and the Beast. We normally plan for these shows at lunch time and bring in food so we don't feel like we are missing out to eat a meal.

There is a patio at R&C where you can see Illuminations really well. You may not necessarily have a great view from your table though. We really like the food here nothing sweet about it that I can recall outside of dessert which would be the same anywhere.

While I can't answer all of those questions, I can confidently tell you that Rose and Crown will have a great view of Illuminations from the patio, and their corned beef and cabbage was to die for. My husband had a very good steak dish from them as well. They have an allergy menu that they can provide to you, and will no doubt make accommodations if requested. From memory I don't recall any sweet dishes aside from desserts.

There are smoked items and rubbed items. Worst case, the children's menu offers chicken fingers, and Mac & cheese. Devastating case, you can always just go for dessert.

Yes, but most tables are indoors. You can request a patio table when you check in, but you ultimately must accept whatever table you're assigned.

Most everything there is smoked or rubbed and quite good if you like BBQ. There are a few salads and the salmon. I can't tell you how they were as we had the brisket. It was good, but we have better at home, but at home they don't serve the volume they do there. Will we go back next time? Yes!
