In order to get a fastpass, does each person wanting a fastpass have to go to the booth and get one theirselves, or can one person get a fastpass for all the members in their group, provided that they have their tickets?

That said, is it OK if one of us in our group (who doesn't like rides anyway) takes our tickets while we are riding an attraction and goes to another attraction to get fastpasses for us? Or is that cheating?

Also- what is the amount of time that you need between fastpasses right now? I've heard conflicting stories- 1 hour, 2 hours, when your first fastpass expires, etc...

thanks in advance!

It's perfectly okay for one person to take all the admission tickets and get fastpasses for the party. People don't have to do it indivdually, but each person's admission ticket does have to be inserted in the fastpass machine. In fact, it's more efficient to have one person do them all. The fastpasses now print right on them the time that you can get your next fastpass. You can get one anytime after your earliest return time, or after two hours, whichever comes first (and remember, the fastpass will tell you when you can get another). If your get a fastpass at 10 AM, with a 10:45 AM return time, you can get another fastpass anytime after 10:45, whether you've used the first fastpass or not. Disney has no way of knowing if the fastpasses ever get used - they only know what time they were distributed.
