Hey guys for those of you still planning I thought I would try to be helpful and list some expenses we have dropped so far so you could go ahead and compare when we get home I will post the whole thing, I know it was helpful to me to see what other people paid and cost comparison.
We are leaving on 7/21/-7/29
Hotel Radisson Resort Parkway for 8 nights.......777.00 with tax free upgrade to poolview compliments of mousesavers.com, (also gonna look into maybe just regular room have heard several reviews people could see fireworks from some rooms will enquire and let you know). I also was comtemplating staying at the Westgate Villas It was a one bedroom with full kitchen (including stove, refrig and place to sit and eat) plus leather couch in living room that pulled out and sep bedroom) for 90.00 a night not having to do time share speil) opted not to go that route as we are not so sure we will be in the room enough to cook and that radisson after lots and lots of research got overall best rating for price and overall stay...........so that helped us decide.
Universal 5 for 2 days 315.00 will pick up there at universal kiosk with confirmation number.
Airfare 606.00 roundtrip for 3 people Southwest.
Car got through priceline an suv for 333.00 with tax.
We still have one day left on a hopper from a few years ago so will use that and will decide in the next day or two to buy 4 day hoppers or just buy single day passes with bounce back option, still contemplating. (for those of you who are not familiar with bounceback it is purchasing a single one park admission but knowing full well you might be back for day 2, 3 and 4 if you purchase the day 2, 3 or 4 with day one they get cheaper for buying all at same time, however they are just single day single park tix not hoppers) I heard disney does not advertise this cause extremely confusing but if you ask will gladly sell them to you............it is so confusing that i needed to read the paragraph in the book about it about oh say 10 times.....LOL
12 disney quick and casual meal vouchers for 138.00 through hotwire savings club and came pretty fast with no shipping charges.......I think that was a great deal.
3 tix to Polynesian Luau about 135.00 for 2 adults one child.
Total cost so far less spending money, rest of meals, gas parking and final decision on disney tix...........$2,104.00 in a high season time adding in disney tix four day hopper for 3 about 660.00....so bringing total up to $2764.00, less remainder eating options and spending money gas, parking and incidentals. I will post when i get back, I love saving money so it will be exciting to see the total....LOL
Oh and a 3.00 brita water bottle thanks for that great idea and one last thing when the disney store was having that crazy sale recently went over and bought a bunch of things and are gonna give them as souvenirs when i get home. No tax here and it says Disney 2004 on em, LOL.
