I am not sure if anyone remembers, we were originally booked at Wilderness Lodge and had to downgrade to POP because my DH lost his job. Well a few weeks after, DH went back to work and is working more now then he did before! Blows that he is never home, but much better then him not working at all. Sooooo, we upgraded back to WL! We were going to go with the Beach Club, but my FIL wants to stay at WL, so we are going to stick with it.
When I made our ADRs, I wasn't able to get Le Cellier so I booked Coral Reef. And the only F! Package they had was Brown Derby. I was fine with those, but I really want Le Cellier and hoped for one of the other two F! to open up. I have called every single day since May 11 looking for openings. Then what I thought was going to kill what ADRs we did have happened. My FIL and MIL got back together after 22 years apart and she is now going with us. And what seemed like a miracle, I was able to add her to all our ADRs but 2. Coral Reef and F! Brown Derby. I tried for calling and checking online for 3 days. Then yesterday morning, I seen that someone said it seemed alot of ADRs had opened up in Aug, so I checked online and got Le Cellier!!!! for our new party size! Being the nervous person I am, I called and checked with a CM to make sure I got it. And sure enough, I did! I was thrilled! So I told him just for kicks to check to see if any F! packages opened up, and one did! Its for Hollywood and Vine. Not my first pick, but it works! And our kids prefer it to Brown Derby. And I have to admit, I prefer it for the kids too. Spending 2 TS on the BD kids selections wasn't making me all to happy.
So after alittle over a month of trying, from Mothers Day to Fathers Day, I was able to get everything we wanted! We have even added a few in here and there! And all now include my MIL! Here is our new list....
8/9 - Whispering Canyon Cafe
8/10 - Ohana Breakfast
Wonderland Tea Party (for my girls)
8/11 - Storybook Breakfast (added)
Le Cellier! (changed from Coral Reef)
8/12 - 1900 Park Fare Dinner
8/13 - Hollywood and Vine F! Package (changed from Brown Derby)
8/14 - Crystal Palace Dinner (added)
8/15 - Chef Mickeys Breakfast (changed from dinner on 14th)
Pixie Dust seems to have fallen on us!
