Normally I don't say much about DH's job because as a firefighter/paramedic it is part of his job to help people.
That being said, since this is a Disney board and we talk about service/CMs and such I wanted to share.
Yesterday was "Sneak Peek Weekend" at Dollywood. I believe they open for the season next weekend.
DH works for Dollywood about 4 days a month as a paramedic in "Safety" (where you would go if you got sick, heart trouble, bee sting etc.).
Yesterday, a grandfather feel down and broke his finger really bad(ly ?)
and Keith was called to go help him. It was a grandfather, grandmother and about a 5yo grandson.
Keith sent him to the hospital because he felt sure it was broken. It was and it was so bad then man needed surgery.
After work, Keith went to the hospital to check on the man, see if he could do anything for the grandmother, and see if the little boy had eaten or needed anything. Then he came on home.
I thought that was really nice of him to go out of his way for that family. They were from out of town. I think Dollywood is lucky to have an employee that cares so much.
(I also think he would make a good CM at WDW someday.
)
Thanks for reading. I'm done bragging now.
