Our Daughters birthday is on a Wednesday in November and we'd like to take her to Bibbidi Bobbidi and Goofy's Kitchen.

Historically, the park doesnt open until 10am on those days. So I have a few questions for you.

1) Can you get into Goofy's Kitchen for breakfast before the park opens?

2) Would you do breakfast first thing (8am) and then go to BBB?

3)Or would you Take her to BBB right when the park opens and then go to Goofy's for a brunch/lunch?

4)Ooooor, would you skip BBB & Goofy's kitchen and try to get on rides right when the park opens (We will have 6 day park hoppers so Im not sure if this will be needed)

TIA for your help & advice :)

You can definitely go to Goofy's before the park opens - it's not inside the park :thumbsup2 I believe breakfast starts at 7:30 a.m., so you would have plenty of time for breakfast before the parks if the parks open at 10:00 a.m. Personally, if it is a late opening morning, I would do breakfast first and then go to the parks.

Whatever you choose to do, have a great time and Happy Birthday to your daughter :thumbsup2

Well seeing as Goofys is at the Disneyland Hotel it really doesn't matter when the park opens. Unless you want to plan to eat and be in the park when it opens:thumbsup2 , then plan accordingly.

We've only had breakfast there, so I don't know about the other meals. I hear people that like to be there in between so it's more like brunch. Well now that I think about it we were there as they switched over and someone in my party was mad when they went back for more of a breakfast item and they were no longer serving it.

I don't know anything about BBB. I have a boy;)

I would think with 6 day hoppers you won't need to make a mad dash for the parks unless that is the birthday girls wish:wizard:

Is she old enough to have much input? We did the "Knight's Package" for DS on his 5th birthday (cannot recommend this if the boy has anything longer than VERY short hair, by the way), and that day was really set by him. However, he's been to DLR several times and knows his way around, knows the basics, so that might be different from your situation.

If you thikn she would want pictures from the character meal while in her princess getup, I would go to GK after BBB. If she's really into dressing up and you think she'll be able to deal with the fancy hair all day, do it as early as possible so she has the whole day to get birthday wishes and "aw isn't she a cute princess" comments. :)

So I guess I kind of shoot for the BBB first, everything else afterwards (just know that the Fantasyland ride lines fill quickly...so consider going maybe an hour after park opening, so you can ride Peter Pan, Alice, etc etc, first). What can I say, we're a ride family! Even after 2 years of having APs with many visits, we still rush rush rush, get there at park opening whenever possible, etc. :)

Thanks guys, she'll be 7 and this is her first trip. Im so glad to hear that GK is open at 7:30am. I'll probably make Rezzies at GK for 8:30am then and make BBB Rezzies for 10am when the park opens.

I might get a sash that says "Birthday Girl" on it so she can feel a little bit "made-up" before we get to BBB.

We were pretty much going to give her free reign to do whatever she wanted for the day after Breakfast and the BBB, but Im wondering if you all have some suggestions for fun things she can do in the parks on her brithday???

Would she enjoy dining with the princesses @ Ariel's instead? We really enjoy Ariel's Grotto ~ the food is great and I like that it's brought to us - no buffet to deal with. You aren't guarnteed to see a princess @ Goofy's, it's likely but might not happen.....

We got a reservation for Goofy as early as 7 AM. I'm not sure if this is when they usually open, but it was during the off season, so it could be the standard opening time.

We had looked at Ariels but we're only spending money on 1 Disney Restaurant experience so we opted for GK. I've seen so many mixed reviews on here about Ariel's and I dont want my daughters birthday to end up being one of those bad reviews :confused3

Thanks Vala, Im kind of in limbo until 6 weeks from our trip date (as soon many others on here are as well), but Im wondering how much time you spent having breakfast there? Theres 4 of us and our DD takes her sweet time eating (much to my dismay when Im trying to get her ready for school :lmao: )
