A Birthday, Characters and LOTS of fun!

Hey everyone! This is my first time writing a ptr/tr so I hope I don't bore you all! I don't have pics yet so I'll try to get them in soon.

CAST:
Me-Hannah, 10 (almost 11) years old. My favorite ride is Space Mountain. My least favorite is TOT. My favorite park is Magic Kingdom. My favorite character is Winnie the Pooh.

DB-Matt, 8 years old. His favorite ride is Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. His least favorite ride is Splash Mountain. His favorite park is MGM. His favorite character is Jack Sparrow.

DM-Stacie, 33 (almost 34) years old. Her favorite ride is TOT. Her least favorite ride is Mission:SPACE. Her favorite park is Magic Kingdom. Her favorite character is Minnie.

DD-Fred, 38 years old. His favorite ride is Rock n Roller Coaster. His least favorite ride is It's a Small World. His favorite park is Epcot. His favorite character is Goofy.

Phew! Now that that's over let's get to the good stuff. We're going to disney because of my Birthday! On March 27 I was reading the dis (as usual) @ about 9:00p.m. When my mom came down stars and said,"These came for you 2 today." My brother and I exchanged strange looks. We read the letter and Matt screamed and ran to my mom and gave her a huge hug! I started to cry as I read the last of the letter. We were going to Disney! Then my mom said, "I have a surprise for you upstairs too." We went into my parents room and there was a Disney countdown calendar. There were also some T-Shirts. Mine had Pooh on it and Matt's had Jack Sparrow on it. My mom hung up the calendar. Then we put in a movie and went to bed.

I have a son that is 10 (soon to be 11 too) and I know he'd LOVE to be going to WDW again. We live in the midwest and will be taking our vacation to Massachusetts this summer, so WDW will have to wait another year or two.

Almost forgot to tell you when we're leaving! I am such a bad person!
Well we are leaving May 23 and coming back May 30. We will be driving. It's our first time driving there but we got a new car!!!

Since I don't have ADR's from my mom yet so I'll just tell you about my other 3 trips.

2003-I was 5 (I think). We stayed at All Star Movies. My brother was 3 (I think). It was a blast since it was our first trip! We went with my grandparents.

2005-I was 8. My brother was 5. We stayed at Caribbean Beach. My grandparents went also.

2007-Ah, yes the one I remember most! We stayed at Wilderness Lodge and we absolutly beautiful! We loved it there. I was 10 and my brother was 7.
It was our first trip without my grandparents. We still hade a good time though!

2008-This is when we'll be going to Disney this year. We r driving. We r staying at Port Orleans French Quarter. I have always wanted to stay here so my mom booked it! Half of the time I'll be 10, the other half I'll be 11. My brother will be 8.

I might post the ADR's tonight so stay tuned.........

P.S. No ofense to Scott or any one else whose stayed at Port Orleans River side, it looks BORING!!!!!!!!!

Well there r 55 days till our wild and crazy trip! We r on the dining plan and that is great because my family loooooooooves to eat!! No no. Really loooooooooooooooooooooooooves to eat!!!!!!!!!!! So of course we have studied every menu and restaurant in that darn place and changed our ADR's a ton. But for now I thought I would share where we'll be eating.

5/24/08- CRT for dinner. No princesses but that's ok. We've never been inside the castle.

5/25/08-Tusker House for breakfast. We've never eatin here before, but can't wait to try that juice and see the elusive Daisy.

5/26/08-Le Cellier for dinner. This is for my Dad. This is about the only thing we let him pick for the trip (sorry Dad )

5/27/08-My B-day dinner at Chrystal Palace. We love the breakfast here but can't wait to try the dinner. How awesoe is it to spend a b-day with Pooh and friends.

5/28/08-Ohana for dinner. I hope I like the food since the menu changed!

5/29/08-Coral Reef for dinner. We've never been here but hope we like it.

Well that's it. After all this food my family and I wil have to wear our stretchy pants home!

My mom just told me she made reservations for tea at the Grand Floridian for the 2nd day we are there. Just me and her

Hi Hannah,
Your ADRs sound great! My DD8 and I went to dinner at CRT and loved it. We met Cinderella before dinner and her mice and the fairy Godmother were there during dinner for a little show. It was actually kind of nice to not have to stop eating to talk to princesses every few minutes.
We also had breakfast at Tusker House and loved it. The juice is to die for! And Daisy looks fabulous! You're going to have a great time!

Just found your PTR! Sounds like you have a lot planned already, and it sounds like a lot of fun! I've never stayed at Port Orleans, but I hope to some day, it looks so beautiful! I can't wait to hear what you think of it!

We're thinking about getting the dining plan when we go later this year, so I'll be waiting anxiously for your reviews of the food!

How wonderful that your Mom made reservations for tea for the both of you...I bet you'll have some special memories from that.

I'm loving your ptr, and I can't wait to hear more! Not too long until you go!

Nice start to your pre-trip report Hannah. I hope you all enjoy your Tusker House breakfast as much as we did. My 12, 11, and 9 year old liked it so much we had to go back a second day.

Your ADR's sound great! We love CRT - we have had breakfast there twice. We went to Tusker House in January just to make sure DD would see Daisy who she loves.

Hi Hannah! You are doing a great job! My daughter is 9 1/2 and I don't think she would be able to do a trippie!

We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge this summer. It is a beautiful place. I would also like to try POFQ one of these days. That is the one with the dragon slide, isn't it? It looks like a lot of fun.

We have not eaten at Tusker House yet but our favorite breakfast was always Donalds Breakfastasaurus until they cllsed it down. I can't wait to try the new one. We have been known to go more than once in a trip. Looking forward to your review on it!

We also love Cyrstal Palace. For any meal!!! We have eaten there at all times of the day. It is all great!

Can't wait to read more!

Hi, Hannah!

Loving your pre-trippie! You have terrific parents--and your brother doesn't sound so bad, either!

We've dined at both LeCellier and Crystal Palace. CP has fun characters--and the food is good! I'm not a big fan of buffets, but we've had a terrific time and thoroughly enjoyed the food each time we've dined there! The food at LeCellier is good, too--just in case your dad was worried for a moment there! *LOL*

What are you hoping to do different on this trip that you didn't do last time?
