A Birthday, Characters and LOTS of fun!

Hey everyone! This is my first time writing a ptr/tr so I hope I don't bore you al! I don't have pics yet so I'll try to get them in soon.

CAST:
Me-Hannah, 10 (almost 11) years old. My favorite ride is Space Mountain. My least favorite is TOT. My favorite park is Magic Kingdom. My favorite character is Winnie the Pooh.

DB-Matt, 8 years old. His favorite ride is Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. His least favorite ride is Splash Mountain. His favorite park is MGM. His favorite character is Jack Sparrow.

DM-Stacie, 33 (almost 34) years old. Her favorite ride is TOT. Her least favorite ride is Mission:SPACE. Her favorite park is Magic Kingdom. Her favorite character is Minnie.

DD-Fred, 38 years old. His favorite ride is Rock n Roller Coaster. His least favorite ride is It's a Small World. His favorite park is Epcot. His favorite character is Goofy.

Phew! Now that that's over let's get to the good stuff. We're going to disney because of my Birthday! On March 27 I was reading the dis (as usual) @ about 9:00p.m. when my mom came down stars and said,"These came for you 2 today." My brother and I exchanged strange looks. We read the letter and Matt screamed and ran to my mom and gave her a huge hug! I started to cry as I read the last of the letter. We were going to Disney! Then my mom said, "I have a surprise for you upstairs too." We went into my parents room and there was a Disney countdown calendar. There were also some T-Shirts. Mine had Pooh on it and Matt's had Jack Sparrow on it. My mom hung up the calendar. Then we put in a movie and went to bed.

I applaud you for writing a trip report. It'll be a good experience. I'm a third grade teacher, so I work with kids just a little younger than you. They're about your brother's age. They always enjoy hearing my Disney trip stories and seeing my pictures. If it's okay, I'll share your stories with them. They will enjoy hearing from someone near their age.


What a nice mom and dad you have to plan a Disney trip surprise! I hope you guys all have a magical time!

How exciting! My DS and I watched the WDW planning dvd last night! We decided we are going to go back within the year but not sure when! I'm so excited to read your TR. When are you going? Will you be missing school?

I read your post and it made me think of the trip to disney we just took in February for my birthday. And guess what, I turned 10.

My favorite parks were Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom. My favorite ride at Animal Kindgom was River Rapids. And my favorite ride at Magic Kingdom was Dumbo.

And I went to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.

Happy Pre Birthday!!! Can't wait to read your trip report! I'm not too crazy about TOT either, only been on it once, and squeezed the knee of the guy sitting next to me, luckily a co-worker! We are going to Disney in May for my daughter's 21st birthday, and she is already planning on decorating her window big time! Please keep us all posted on everything until the big day! I love trip reports!

I can't wait to hear more about your plans I'm with your Dad--I adore RnRC...the first time I went, I was so scared, I closed my eyes the whole time. When I got off the ride, my DD said to me "Mom, what did you think about being upside down?" I said "HUH???? I was upside down???" I have since learned to love this ride.

I am looking forward to your trip report. Good for you on sharpening your writing skills and will you be doing the photography as well? My daughter in my signature picture was 10 (almost 11) when we went to Disney World.
She took a really silly video in our hotel room about the beds, the animal towels, the safety rules on the door, our shoes lined up by the door, even the toilet. She used a lot of space on my camera and I couldn't take any more pictures when we got to Magic Kingdom. I had to buy more memory for my camera. That video makes me laugh so much everytime I watch it and it is only of the room.

My mom and I watch the dvd all the time too. We are going May 23-May 30. Let me know when you guys decide to go!
