Many thanks to all for a post I did a while back asking about how to make ADR from the UK; having failed for our trip earlier this year (and first).

Today, after the weekly trawl round the super market, tried to ring WDW, even before unpacking thew shopping (!) and what do you know.....after a short wait was put through to the most helpful customer services assistant ever and we are now the proud owners of ADR for our first 10 days next April/May

Again many thanks to all you lovely people

well I am so excited and even more so because you are all interested!

The three of us (DW and DD aged 9) First week we are staying at AKL and second week at Wilderness lodge. We do not have car and so far we have booked:

27/04 (Arrival) Boma
28/04 (EPCOT) Le Cellier
29/04 (AK) Jiko
30/04 (BB) Boma
01/05 (Hotel/DD) Breakfast at Boma. Dinner at Boma (might change this for Raglan Road or somewhere else in DD)...any suggestions?

02/05 (MGM) Mama Melrose (Fantasmic Dinner)
03/05 (Uni Studios) Boma

04/05 MY BIRTHDAY!     Character Breakfast at Crystal Palace and Dinner at Whispering Canyon (then return to MK for the evening). Have heard this combo might be fun!

05/05 (Hotel/EPCOT) San Angel
06/05 (MK) Chef Mickeys character dinner
07/05 (TL) Ohana

Need to get ADR for 8-11/05 but hope to get Californian Grill, Whispering Canyon and Artists Point.

Hope we have got the right mix for the three of us and trying to make the most of DDP, paying OOP for the cheaper meals.

Sooooo excited...anyone would have thought I was the DD aged 9, not the DH aged 41!!!!

Excellent choices! :thumbsup2 I'm getting hungry just thinking about them! :teeth:

Top choices! :thumbsup2 Ashamed to say my mouth is actually watering...

Yes good choice, we love Jiko, Ragland Road and our new fave Ohana :thumbsup2

Great choices - loved Le Cellier

We have not tried Le Cellier before but have heard good things and it also looks like good value on the DDP. This year was our first trip and was only there for 6 days so eat at hotel (POR) and only tried a few other places (Holloywood and Vine, Liberty tree and Crystal Palace); didn't have time to visit EPCOT.

Part two.....rang today to try to get Californian Grill but that we couldn't get our ideal time the time we wanted :sad2: but got 8pm :woohoo:

Just Artists Point and Whispering Canyon to go!

This year on our first visit we did not book any ADR in advance and only one when we were there (actually got seated quicker as a walk up at Crystal Palace than those who already had ADR's!

For next visit we are on the DDP and want to make the most of it at some of the more popular places. The joy of most ADR's is that they can be changed or cancelled at the last minute.

I must confess to really enjoying all the planning...next best thing to being there...only another 6 months to wait!...trying to talk my DW into three week visit in 2008.
