First off - thanks for all the posts and PMs regarding my thread of a couple of weeks ago asking for help in dealing with my friend's cancer diagnosis. I was unsure of how to act around her and as usual, my DIS friends gave me wonderful advice.
My friend started her chemo last week. She was sick for a couple of days after the treatment, but is doing okay now. The good news is that the doctors discovered that the cancer had NOT spread at all - they suspected otherwise and thought it was all through her body. Oh the miracle of prayer!
We've been in contact mainly by PM, I've had a nasty cold for over 1 1/2 weeks but since I'm better, I'm going over later this week. We laugh and joke and then we get serious and discuss this illness in detail, something I think she appreciates.
Please keep her in your prayers.
Thanks,
Pam
