Thankyou for a most enjoyable and sometimes frustrating quiz

I'm really sorry having started with the best intentions I'm afraid I lapsed about 1/2 way through, half term and a bathroom that looks like a bombsite took over. That's the beauty of an old house, the original intention was to remove the existing horrible tongue and groove wood that we've lived with since we bought the house and tile ~ simple !
The reality, remove wood, plaster also falls off revealing brickwork and in places view of garden though missing cement, definately no problem with ventilation in there at the moment. Add to which me tempting fate by saying what good condition the ceiling is under polystyrene tiles, only to hit a patch where my scraper goes straight through, reason an old wasp's nest the size of Mars, (and a lot more impressive than those recent new photos they made such a fuss about), which has at some time been blocked up from the outside but left insitu. The wasps long gone, during their time in the roof space have gone through the plaster board, leaving me with a large hole in the ceiling.

DS has today gone to school with a bag full of the nest to show off to his class. Unfortunately it was so big and so fragile it was impossible not to break it. I have to say that I hate wasps, but in all fairness you have to admire their workmanship - not sure DH is seeing that way though.
