First I want to give a real big thank you to everyone on this board. You all give such great information and advice!
I just returned home from my first visit to Disneyland!! Now I'm from Florida and live just 50min away from Disney World and had an annual pass since I was 12 and I'm 19 now and I never get tired of going it still feels magical to me.
Needless to say my family loves us some Disney and we make day trips often. Me and my mom have wanted to go to Disneyland for a long time but it was never a reality til last October when we did an overnight trip to all star music for the Halloween party at magic kingdom and we decided we needed a change of scenery.
Fast forward to last week and I took my first ever plane ride to the greatest place ever!
It was a little funny to fly out of Orlando and see all the people so excited to go to Disney World and me and my mom were leaving Orlando to make the plane ride to Orange County\Disneyland. Me and my mom were completely over the moon and every day we woke up we couldn't believe we were there. Both parks were amazing! We may have been the only people ever to make our first visit to Disneyland and not go to the original park first, we started at California Adventure and we loved it! Both parks were just so great everything was so different and so detailed and we never encountered an unfriendly cast member, however it was hilarious when we said we were from Florida and there eyes would get real big and go "whoa" and then they wanted to have long conversations about Florida.
The trip was the best one ever and I admit it will be hard to go back to Disney World this weekend when we go for a day trip. I love my home park, but I admit Disneyland is more magical and spectacular. I've never gotten so teary eyed at a theme park before it has something Disney World doesn't and that's history and now I understand why people love it so much! The good news is I wont have to wait long to go back because we are planning a return trip for this September!!! Can't wait! Let the planning begin!
