Wow, I am just blown away with how much I loved this resort. We stayed there for 3 nights last week and it was a wonderful experience. The minute we pulled up we were treated like royalty. The condo was beautiful, just immaculate. We were given a choice between 2 units, and we chose the one in a brand-new tower.
We are not timeshare owners and they knew it, but the only times we were "approached" for a presentation were by sliding a paper under our door, and one message on our voice mail. Completely unintrusive.
The oft-heard complaint of the walls being thin was only noticeable during the "Dive-In Movie" they showed on our first night. I just turned on the fan in the bathroom and pulled the door shut almost all the way and the white noise drowned out any movie noise, no problem at all.
The shuttle was on-time and seemed like a great way to travel to the parks. We chose to drive our rental car only b/c we wanted the freedom to leave when we wanted, but I did see the shuttle several times and I would definitely use it in the future.
There is a huge common room with free internet, TV, video games, a pool table and a big arcade across the hall. The pool isn't themed, but it's big and very nice. The lake is huge with a big fountain in it, and we could see but didn't hear any of the construction of the new buildings going on.
The people who worked there were professional, courteous, and definitely went out of their way to make us feel important. There is a cute red tram that takes you to your room if you're staying in any of the out-buildings.
I just can't say enough. I can't wait to ask my friend to use her timeshare again! Please feel free to PM me with any questions about Bonnet Creek. We absolutely loved our experience there.
