This past weekend, there was a hot air balloon festival in Waterford, Wi - I went there on Friday and had a great time, but Saturday they had a little disaster when the hot air balloon they give "rides" in with it being on a long tether ended up getting caught in some high winds ahead of a storm that was coming through.
Luckily everyone was OK! ...but check out hot the balloon drag that truck across the lawn! This video was shot by someone that was at the festival on Saturday.
Unfortunately, with this incident Saturday and the rough and windy weather for the remainder of Saturday and into Sunday, it put the kibosh on other hot air balloon flights.
Luckily we were able to enjoy everything on Friday. I did shoot a quick video including the after dusk hot air balloon "glow" event.
