A BCV/BWV/SSR REVIEW...(long!)

Hi there Gopherit! I read this report this am when it was brand new! You almost made me late for work I wasn't able to thank you for it until now! What a great and well thought out report. I hope I do half as well on mine when I get back in October. Lucky for me, I am only staying at one resort

We (I ) want to add-on and it helps to read about the others in that way!!!

Thanks so much for the TR Gopherit. I really enjoyed reading it. It was interesting to get a bird's eye account of how Disney handled the "Charlie" problem. Sounds like BWV did their best.

I feel the same as you do about the DVC resorts......we love them all, some just a little more than others.

I too love VWL, but have enjoyed our stays at OKW and BCV. May try SSR in January. That is one of the things DH and I enjoy about DVC is the variety and flexbility it affords us.

Absolutely great reports. We are BWV owners and it is our favorite but that is what makes DVC great, all our differences. We have only stayed at VB, OKW and the BWV and loved all of them. We leave in 2 weeks for another OKW stay and then in December a GV at BWV and a few extra days in a BCV 1 bdr. Always love to hear everyone else's reviews. Thanks again!

What a great report. I am not due back ot WDW til March, and fun reports like yours will keep me going til then!

We have 6 nights at the Lodge for March, and I can't wait. I just LOVE it there. Like you, it's my favorite, along with OKW. I appreciate that I can be a blobby Mom in my bathing suit at these two, and nobody notices! I also think the slide will make OKW even BETTER!

Glad you have a good time and didn't lose too much fun to the hurricane. Thanks again for sharing.

What great trip reports! Thank you so much for posting them for us to read! I think that's pretty phenomenal, what BWV did for their guests during Charley--how nice! I'm sorry to hear there were so many greedy guests present, however...

I'm so excited for my family to take our first trip to our home resort, SSR, this December--I loved reading your report on it, and was so happy to hear how much your familiy loved it there!

Did you happen to notice if younger children (i.e. around age 2'ish, or 3'ish) were allowed to ride the theme slide at High Rocks Pool, if their parents went down with them?

Thanks for the great reports. Isn't it great that DVC has something for everybody? Just wanted to add that your report really made me want to stay at VWL. I've been through the lodge once and just thought they'd be too dark and that we'd prefer BCV, but now I think we'll give them a try on our next visit (after SSR next month). We'll do BCV some other time when all the kiddies are in school.

Can't wait to read why you were eating chips in the closet!
