A Baby at Pop Century?

Hey all,

Room for a pack and play in the newly renovated rooms?

New to the boards, but have been going to Disney for years. We always stay at Pop Century and we stayed there before the renovations happened when my daughter was 11 months and needed to sleep in a pack and play. It worked fairly well as we put the pack and play in the sink/bathroom area under the old style coat rack so that we could pull the curtain shut and give the baby and us a little separation.

Now however, with the new room renovations and bathroom design, I'm not sure where to fit a pack and play in that room? We will be bringing a 9 month old this time, and I am wondering if there is any good place for a pack and play in these rooms? Has anyone tried this? Has anyone rented something smaller than a pack and play that worked better? Looking for specifics in regards to the Pop Century. We really don't want to stay at a moderate even though it would offer more room. Trying to keep the cost of the trip down. Thanks.

stay at DVC resorts and they have a pack and play in each closet. really though Pop did too -or maybe you have to ask for it? if they have it - would think it has to fit.

You have to request a pack & play in resort rooms. (Not sure about DVC - but I trust you. lol)

As far as room for it, I’m not sure, OP, but I wouldn’t think Disney would offer it, if there wasn’t room for it.

I asked the same question on the Pop Century renovation thread and never received an answer. Maybe no one on the boards has run into this yet? From the pics It doesn’t look like the pack and play will fit in the bathroom anymore with the new closet anymore but it’s hard to know for sure. Like someone said Disney wouldn’t offer it without having space somewhere. Maybe against the wall next to dresser?
We will be trying Pop next year with a baby too.

I think I recall a post (maybe on the reno thread) that a pnp fits in front of the connecting door - or that same space if not a connecting room. Now, if you are hoping for connecting rooms and want that door open/usable, it wouldn’t work. But if it’s just your family in 1 room it would.

Enjoy your vacation!

ETA: yep - looks like 3 possible options, here it is: https://www.disboards.com/threads/pop-century-room-renovations.3573071/page-177#post-58319028
