Hi all! I have been lurking this board FOREVER! Now, finally, at the age of 24 I can officially say I am going to DISNEYWORLD!.
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Erin and I am 24 years old from NY. Ever since I was younger I have dreamed of visiting Disneyworld. I grew up in a family with a brother and sister who both refused to fly and with parents who said the drive was too long. So I was left waiting and waiting and waiting for the opportunity to visit Disney. I am a very goal oriented girl who has set a lot of goals in my life. Many of which I have accomplished on my own with no help from others. (ie. Graduated from college with a 3.97 GPA, landed the dream job at a dream company in the television/music industry, I have lost 82 pounds to date and still losing
) Now that my first few goals have been completed I can enjoy my other goals. (of which money is needed for! Ha!)
When I was about 16 or 17 I wrote a list of things to do before I die. I am determined to accomplish all. My list looks a little something like this.
1. Visit Disneyworld, buy mouse ears, take a picture with Mickey, and ride Dumbo. (of course I want to do EVERYTHING in Disney but these are the ones I remember wishing to do when I was younger and never got the chance to.)
2. Visit Japan
3. Backpack through Europe
4. Bungee Jump
5. Sky Dive
One by one I plan to cross an item off this list. I am happy to say I am starting where Dreams Come True (literally).
I will be visiting Disney on February 6th 10th 2008.
Along for the ride is my boyfriend of almost three years Will. (Former reality star (hehe) of ABCs Fat March losing 120 pounds to date. He is not as Disney obsessed as me which has given me full reign over the trip ( SCORE ) but I hope to turn him into one by the end of it!)
(note: have pics but cant post yet)
I will be staying at the POP and am on the Deluxe Dining plan.
I booked this vacation about 187 days ago, but who was counting anyways? Haha!
I have gotten yelled at from my boyfriend to stop talking about Disney every day of the 187 days.
I have insanely googled, ebayed, and searched the Internet for cute Disney shirts, pins, and anything related to Disney.
I will show you later the two shirts i have bought so far. ( need 3 more! If anyone has tips on where to buy cute disney shirts that are funky and fashionable let me know!)
I started my itinerary from the day we booked the trip and have EVERYDAY mapped out to a tee. I think I even know what I am going to order at each restaurant! (no dieting in Disney ALLOWED for either of us.)
Since I promised my boyfriend I wouldnt talk about Disney that much. I figured I would go someplace where someone will listen! ( and not yell, even though I bet you my bf will lurk on over here and read this.. HI WILL! <3)
I will update with my itinerary tomorrow or over the weekend sometime ( any tips or changes you think should be made let me know, you guys are the pros!) This of course depends on whether or not people read this!
Until then...
