9th grade

who has 9th grade as part of there high school? their middle school?

9th grade is their own school since we have 2,000 kids in my grade.

K - 6th :: Elementary School
7th - 9th :: Junior High
10th - 12th :: High school

Even though 9th grade is in the Jr.High building, it's actually considered High School.

We have 4 schools:
K-2nd: Northeast school
3rd-6th: West school
7th & 8th: Middle School
9th-12th: High school

We did only have 3 schools, but then the classes got too big to have K-6th in one school, so they built a new high school and put 3rd-6th in the old one.

So in about a week I will be entering 9th grade [High School].

It's high school down here. Middle school is 6th, 7th, and 8th.

9th grade goes to the high school, but they're instituting the Freshman Academy which isolates them to one part of the school.

I think its stupid.

at my school its paht of the middle school but we have the same privoligious(sp) and the elimentary middle and high schools are no more than a minuits walk away

kindergarden- seperate school.
kindergarden [some are putting into elementary schools]-4: elementary.
5-6; intermediate.
7-8; middle school.
9-12; high school.

theres one kindergarden, 4 elementeries, one intermediate with 8 teams of around a few hundred kids each, one middle with around 10 colors, with 200 kids each, and one highschool and my graduating class is over 1000 kids. so each grade has about 1000+kids in it.

butin grade 7 I went to a french immersion school that was just 7&8.

there are schools in my area that are k-5 or k-6.
the school i went to was a REALLY old school, so it was still k-8.
i think they've changed it to k-5 now though.

Most of the schools in my city are K-8. I think there's only like two or three that aren't.
I went to a K-8 school, so the stuff I posted at the top, is basically just how the grades are divided.
My old school shouldn't be K-8, it's just so overcrowded. The Tech II lab has a grade 6 class in the cooking part of it (it used to be an art room two years ago). The science lab is doubled as a science lab and an art room. The computer lab is half computer lab, half grade 2 class (they're separated by those moving wall things).
The classes and full of students, and many are being bussed off to other schools in the area.
