I know most of you are in the garden enjoying the weather but DD has been ill (we think a bit of heatstroke) so we have been taking it easy - she has been watching the video we took on our last trip a lot!

Finally made it out yesterday woohooo to Blockbuster and I noticed that this week it is 99p for one night on everything.

Thought it might be of interest to someone - think it runs until Saturday

Thanks for posting this, I didn't notice this promotion and there are definitely a few movies i'd like to rent over the next 2-3 days!

We're moving out of London in 9 days and our house is all packed up so there are no books out, no dvd's etc, so we could use a little entertainment before we go! :cool1:

No probs :)

Hope the move goes well - where are you off to?

We're moving to Caterham in Surrey, its a nice town. DH is from Wiltshire and has not enjoyed living in London the last 4 years (I love it!) so we thought we'd compromise, I can still be in London in less than 45 minutes and he gets his countryside views :thumbsup2

Best thing about it though is that its only 8 miles to Gatwick and not that far from Ashford either, both very important in my quest to do Disney twice a year! :lmao:

Hope the move goes well. :sunny:

When we bought our first house we looked at Caterham (we ended up across the M25 in Redhill as it was nearer work for both of us) - it is very well situated

We're still renting at the moment. Caterham is nice but feels a bit small to me, I'd love to buy in Redhill. Did you like living there?

Redhill was nice. We were on the outskirts in the armpit(!) where the M25 meets the M23. We loved the convenience of it- I worked next to the airport and DH in Leatherhead. I used to get so excited driving up to the big shops in Croydon - now they are all on my doorstep ;)

In the end we only lived there 14 months! In fact by the time we actually exchanged contracts we already knew that we would be relocating to Coventry with DH's job. I felt that it would be wrong to pull out of the sale so we went ahead - it was well worth it! the price rose nicely over the time we were there giving us a decent deposit and a trip to WDW!

I moved in pregnant and out with a 6 month old so I can't tell you much about the area (let alone the nightlife! :teeth: )
