999 Haunted Haunts Ball at WDW

Hi:

Can anyone tell me if the 999 Haunted Haunts Ball at WDW is always held on October 30th?
When will WDW Events Services start taking reservations?
How many guests can attend the Ball? My guess is 999.
I know this years Ball is sold out, but I'm hoping to be able to attend the 2003 Ball.

Although a similar event has happened at DisneyLAND in California, this is the first time Disney World has held this event. Typically the only Halloween event has been Mickey's Not So Scary...

The event was originally advertised for only 999 guests. I'm not sure if that's all they actually accepted or not.

i'm hoping it's an annual event too. dh would love to do this next year. haunted mansion is his favorite!
