i was banned from VMK and all i said was MegElizabeth.that is not saying anything wrong is it i banned from VMK b4 from 24 hours and all i said was my computer screen went black rats.

IF all you said was that you were MegElizabeth and that is your VMK name- then why the ban?

I would suggest like already suggested, that you take a few deep breaths. And ask a parent to help you compose a letter to VMK using the contact us form. If your character's name is MegElizabeth you did nothing wrong.

Now if that is your real life name as well as your DIS name- then perhaps it is best that you re-think how you use the internet- that is very dangerous information to share for someone so young.

But get your parents involved- and ask for help- these bans have been reversed in the past so there is hope- Good luck

I hope others learn from your misfortune and not make the same mistake.

Although I have seen alot of players treading on thin ice this week.

Especially with hints as to where they live.

Maybe this ban is a good thing. Try making "life" your life. Try going outside and playing with your friends. Read books, draw, do something else to occupy yourself and make computers NOT the center of your life. When I was 9 the only thing on my mind was if the weather was nice enough to go running outside with my sister and in the winter time, sleding. We all know vmk is A LOT of fun and addicting, but there is more to this world than just computer games. (At least I hope! What is this world coming to? )

I try to tell my mom to have my friends come over but no got to have Ashley's friends come over.(Ashley is my sister)Like a few days ago I went ice skating with Mollie(my brother Ryan's girlfriend)and then we went over to her house and sleded.I go on my computer when I am bored and want to play on VMK.Right now I have nothing to do because my sister is at my grandma's house and my brother is with at work.(I think)My mom's at work,and my dad is home taking the Chritmas stuff down.So basicly the only thing to do is play on the computer.Other than play on the Xbox but my dad has to hook it up.

Are there any books in your house? Reading is fun and a good way to occupy yourself. If you do not have a single book in your house, do you have paper? Drawing or writing is another way to occupy yourself. If you do not have paper, do you have a phone? talking to your friends if you cannot see them can be fun. If you cannot call them, what is wrong with sitting outside listening to music, or just going outside to read? There are many many things to do other than playing video games and keeping your eyes glued to the computer.

dont worry. vmk was running my life (ask spongeblair! LOL) but i came to terms with it and now dont go on the computer that much.trust me it will be ok. But i do miss vmk with all the stuff coming out and that..
If it was for saying your vmk name and you were not refering it to the disboards then there is no reason for your ban. Go on the main vmk site and go to contact us, i think i am banned, and then it will give you a reason and how long your ban lasts.

I agree one 100% with Loves Disney. But sometimes it is hard to lose something like VMK. I am trying to cut down myself. I've been using my game boy DS more. And when it's charging, I draw or talk on the phone. If I got ban for 10 years, I would be 20..
Take some time to not do anything but talk to your family. Getting together with family can be a big thing in life. Trust me, you'll remember most of your family moments in life.-My dad.
