I know some cruisers will book a room at the Atlantis to be able to use the pool and grounds. This is a great rate! Here's the link to the special:

Yeah I saw this on Travelzoo as well. It is a great price. If you check on this site alot of times they will have a good rate for the Atlantis.

I just booked my room for 99.oo tonight for 9-12-05. Thanks for the information.

Thanks for the tip! I was torn between Atlantis and the Stingray thing, but found a site that showed the minimum age to be 5 years old for the stingray thing- my kids are 2 and 4!

I am excited now!!

Great! I'm glad the deal is still available - I know the top 20 ones tend to go quickly.

Hi,

Thanks for sharing! I got really excited about the rate, until I saw it won't work for my christmas time cruise. Please though if anyone see's this rate again there for later this year, please post this again. Thanks! :flower:

Mmketeer....Next cruises:
RCCL/SOS 12/05 & DCL/Wonder 2/06 :Pinkbounc

If you are on the 4 day cruise.......the wonder gets to nassau at Monday 8:30am and leaves 11pm. Monday night...

You book for the Monday night, and use the pool etc. for the entire day Monday??? What time is check in...?.

That's a great tip...my family and I just returned from a DC and we booked a room at the Comfort Suites in Paradise Island at a rate of $164 plus tax for 2 adults and 2 children and we were able to go next door to the Atlantis and get the wristbands for access to the pools/slides.

Can't beat the rate you found.

Thanks! :cool1:

We will be there on 9/19. We were planning on trudging over to ask for day rate then and not book in advance due to hurricane risk. I heard last year many people either didn't make it to nassau or the nassau day got changed around with sea day. So, I'm still not sure what to do...but if we do decide to do this...what day do you guys book? 9/19? So even if we get there earlier than check in time, they will give us wristbands and we can start using facilities now? Also, what is the cancel policy on this deal? And, still only 4 per room? Wait...i just saw ad said price for double occupancy...so do they charge more if you have more than 2? Anyone know?

vossjemi... I'd probably ask those questions directly to Atlantis. My thought would be like most hotels, even if it's before checkin time you can still process the paperwork and use the facilities. But as for the cancellation questions and such, I'd call the 800 number on the rate page :)

Another thought I just had was maybe trip insurance would cover if the ship didn't make it? I'll ck into it and let you all know what I decide to do.

We were able to get 2 rooms for 9/19. The lady said that kids are free, so my family of 4 only pays $99 for 1 room. My parents have the other room. There was another adult couple we met on our roll call who were contemplating splitting a room with my parents, but Atlantis said to add 2 extra adults to their ressie would be an extra $90 so might as well get a room on their own since its so cheap. They said we had until 14 days prior to cancel w/out penalties, but within that time frame it would be nonrefundable. OUr cruise insurance does cover losses due to weather, so we went ahead and booked. They also emailed me a confirmation as I requested. I should note the confirmation seemed to have stricter cancel policies however. It said 30 day notice or $50 cancel fee per person, and add'l penalties for 15 days or more or within 14 days. I'm not sure which to believe, but I guess as long as travel insurance covers me, I should be ok. Woohoo! I cannot wait. THis is a great deal!
