$99 Deal Back!

WOW!! So you get a ticket worth about $170.00 for $99.00 and as long as you don't use it, it's good for life? so I could order one for my upcoming WDW trip in May and then two more for my Oct and Dec trips? How big is Universal Studios compared to WDW? and if you don't have a rental car, what's the easiest way to get there form WDW?
You'd better hurry...not many $99 tickets left out there. The tickets don't expire until activated at the gate so you can hang onto them indefinately.

Mears runs a shuttle from WDW to Universal but you would have to make arrangements 24 hours in advance.

Both parks are right beside each other so it's not as spread out as Disney and it's much easier to get between parks...just walk.

It is in post #20 or you can click the banner at the top of the page to purchase through Dreams Unlimited & Universal.

That's the link I clicked on and there was nothing about Universal. I also tried a search and only the info about Universal was a discount at the gate. :confused3

Do you have a AAA office near you? That's where I got my AAA tickets, at my local office.

The link at the top of the page is gone??? Wonder if the tickets sold out today, glad I got mine this morning.

The $99 is still available online through Universal's website:

https://secure.universalstudios.com...ernalID=UODream&CategoryExternalID=UODreamTPT

You just have to buy it at least 2 days in advance from when you plan to use it.

Hey Metro West, I noticed you mentioned transport with Mears from WDW to Universal. Do you have any more info on that? I can't seem to find a way to get a price quote for it on Mears' website. Do you happen to know how much shared transport from WDW to Universal is...? Merci! :)

I think the round trip is $18.00 for adults...children are less. You would probably need to call them for the details.

Thanks guys, I just bought them. Don't know for sure when I'll use them, as I'm usually strictly a Disney girl. I've never had any interest in Universal Studios, until they decided to build Harry Potter's World.

One question. I chose to print my tickets. On them it says, may be used for seven consecutive days. I thought they expired 14 days after first use. If I'm down there for nine days and decide to go to Universal only on my second and last day, will I not be able to get in on that ninth day, even though it would only be my second admission on the ticket?:confused3

One last question: these tickets are good for life, as long as we don't use them, right? The banner that was at thetop of this page had already been taken down, before I made my mind up, so I used the Universal website Starwater posted in the above post. I guess they're the exact same tickets, right?

Click the link & put your zip code in. I am in NY so once I get to AAA NY I click Theme Part tickets & follow the prompts from there. Each AAA state (or region) has their own website.

I don't know if this will be of any help, but Ticketmania has Universal 7 day 2 park tickets for $126 including tax, which is higher than the other places were offering. They also have Wet n Wild add on for $4 more (3 park ticket for $130). I have never ordered anything from them, so I don't know how reputable they are, but I do know that mousesavers used to recommend them.

I also found that DWtickets.com also has a deal for Universal tickets for $109 including tax, but again I have never ordered from them, so don't know how they are, but here is another thread recommending them for WDW tickets: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2058524

Hope this helps.

It depends on where you bought the tickets. The $99 special was for 7 consecutive days. The new, (ahem) improved $169 tickets are good for 7 days in a 14-day period.

I used the site Starwater listed in his post above.

If you paid $99 and the ticket says 7 consecutive days, then your ticket is the old ticket which expires 6 days after your first use. So basically, you need to do all your visiting in 1 week.

If anyone works with a company that offers employee discounts at ticketsatwork.com , they still have the $99 dollar tickets. I picked some up there.
