99 Cent store - good & bad

First the good - 99 cent store has lots and lots of Disney stuff right now! Jumpropes, little frisbees, diaries, stationery sets, giant pens, notebooks, etc. All sorts of characters - princesses, Pooh & Tigger, Mickey & Minnie, Donald & Daisy. Really broad selection.

But the bad - they are closing in November. The whole chain. So if you have one, this is the time to go!

Are you sure??

I shop there alot and I know that they are increasing some of their items to 99.99 cents (almost $1) but I didn't think they were all closing??

They just opened a few new stores in Southern California so I doubt they would have opened them if they will be closing in a month.

When you say .99 cent store, do you mean the Dollar Tree, or another on?

only the texas stores are closing which makes me mad

It's the 99 Cent store, not the Dollar Tree or Dollar General. The guys at our store said it was ALL of them, but I suppose it could be just the Texas stores. It may depend on how the ownership is structured (IE, the TX and the CA stores are owned by separate owners and the TX owner is closing out.)
