This is the deal of the year. I was waiting to see if they would have 2 years for $169 like they did last year, but I don't think they're doing that. This is good enough.

My pass expired in Decemeber, and the renewal rate was $99, but I didn't renew because I wasn't coming up, so now I get to renew for the same price, and my expiration is moved forward.

Ask your company if they have a fan club card. Goto your HR department and ask. Goto www.universalstudios.com/fanclub and enter the last 4 digits on the card.

Second if we are not going to fl till aug can we not get these tickets ?i don't mind if they expire 1 year from may but i can't use them till aug

Now that's an interesting question.

Goto the www.universalstudios.com/fanclub site where you enter the last 4 digits of the barcode (0015 cough cough) and pay with a credit card.

Here's the legal info.

*Purchase now through April 30, 2003. Activation of pass must be prior to May 31, 2003, and is valid one (1) year from redemption. Offer is only valid for Florida Fan Club members. Annual Pass valid only during theme park operating hours. Not valid for separately ticketed events, such as Halloween Horror Nights® and Rock the Universe. 2-Park Preferred Annual Pass regularly $169.95 plus tax.

Ok, it says must be activated by May 31, but in the past, they simply activated passes that went past that date on the expiration date (May 31). Will they do it now? I dunno. That's the big question. You'll have to call a manager and find out.

Tinkbarb has been most helpful in getting fan club cards to those in need. However, those fan club cards do not work for the $99 discount. You must have a fan club card issued from a Florida or Georgia entity. This is regardless if whether you are a FL or GA resident. I am a FL resident and could not use the card from Tinkbard. The bar code is all that matters. And the Tinkbard cards do not have the right barcode. Email if you need info on the FL bar code.

Yes, that's right. It took awhile for me to figure that out. I called their office twice and never got a return call. If it hadn't been for robvia helping me out I would have missed out on this awesome deal!

I am so bummed. I am from Florida and I was planning on buying the annual pass for $99.00 because it's such a great deal. But it says you have to activate it by May 31st and I won't be there until June 12th....aaah.
