We sailed on the Wonder 1/20 and booked our cruise for the $99.00 special while we were still at the airport waiting to fly home,(no sense waiting)
D/W put it on our credit card and the cm told her we did not have to send in our certificate.
We checked our res. yesterday and room was still qty. So we called seems we have to send that certificate in to get our room assignment.
Has this happened to anyone else.

Steve

Yes, you have to send in the certificate. The CM you spoke to was misinformed. But if you booked it on 1/20, it may have been one of the first phone calls that CM took for that promotion.

I seem to recall the $99 certificate had to be redeemed by the end of March, so I'd send it in right away.

I agree....send it in asap. We were in room gty until they received our coupon...but it took almost 10 days. I kept an eye on our reservation through disneycruise.com Maybe you ought to call and let them know the coupon is on its way........

We sent it in after talking to a second cast member the other day we were okay on the time because we had paid it all off by credit card but they still needed the certificate.
Thanks Everyone for the help.:sunny:

I sent in my coupon as required, but I don't understand why they need it.

When I booked my $99 cruise, the CM pulled up my name and had all of my previous cruises noted, including the January cruise that entitled me to have the coupon. She was able to tell that there were two passengers on the January cruise and that I was able to have no more than two passengers on the $99, and that at least one from Jan was on the fall cruise.

If me or anyone else tried to book another cabin for the $99 special using my January cruise as the basis, it would certainly show up as not allowed. If someone that wasn't on a qualified January cruise tried to book a $99 cruise, they would not be able to locate the records and would say 'no deal'.

It seems like an extra step that isn't necessary.

Anyone know of a reason for the coupons to be mailed in, other than it's required?
